BARDSI was born from watching a global movement take shape—one with a deep, vibrant history.

Padel was originally born in Mexico, but it found its spiritual home when it landed in Spain in the 1970s. It exploded into a way of life, woven into the fabric of daily culture. Courts everywhere. Friends made over post-game drinks. Families playing together on weekends. It was in Barcelona—the city where padel's rules were officially unified in 1997—that the foundation was laid for the sport we love today.

That infectious energy didn't stay put. It sparked across Europe, landed in cities like Dublin, and exploded across Southeast Asia from our home in Singapore. Whether it's padel, pickleball or tennis, the realisation was exactly the same in every city: sport is simply better when it’s social.

For too long, women’s activewear was designed for the solo grind of the gym. But court sports are different—they are built on connection, laughter, and community. We created BARDSI to welcome every woman into a movement that makes exercise feel like fun again.

The name? Barcelona. Dublin. Singapore. The three cities that shaped our journey. And those three dots on our logo represent the sports at the heart of our world: tennis, padel, and pickleball.
